The logistics of group travel can be overwhelming for those who don’t plan this type of vacation everyday. That is why it is so important to work with a travel agent. Not only can I help take the hassle out of your trip, I can help pick the perfect cruise ship or resort for your needs and negotiate group discounts. This is especially important when planning a destination wedding. Having coordinated travel plans for weddings in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Costa Rica, and even a surprise wedding in Ireland, I am experienced and can help guide you through the process of planning your destination wedding. By using a travel agent, I can help a group see what kind of specials are available, make sure the resort is the right fit for your needs and help save you money! Picking a destination to travel to can be hard with so many amazing options to choose from. I recently came back from beautiful Montego Bay, Jamaica. While I was there I toured many all inclusive resorts that would be ideal for a honeymoon, a destination wedding, or a fun winter vacation with friends! The people of Jamaica are so fun and happy to give you great service. Also, this year, I traveled to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and met with sales managers and conducted site inspections at several resorts. I highly recommend all inclusive resorts for a family or group getaway. The amenities are endless and make for a worry free vacation. My love of travel spans a lifetime of experiences. What began by reading my mother’s National Geographic magazines has evolved into a career infused with travel in every aspect. For 16 years I worked as a flight attendant, taking full advantage of having the opportunity to explore places I may never have been otherwise. This led to the creation of Group Trip Designers, an agency focused on the travel needs of its clients. I also spent over five years working as an instructor at The Travel Academy in Eagan, MN where I had the honor to share my passion with those just starting their careers. My last trip was to Montego Bay, Jamaica and my next trip is with a group of 26 people going on an Alaskan cruise with Princess Cruise Lines.

Making Memories in Puerto Vallarta
There are many great reasons for working with a travel agent, but perhaps one of the most valuable services we can offer, is our first hand knowledge of a destination and help you find the right resort for your perfect vacation. On the Pacific coast of Mexico, along the Banderas Bay, you'll find the sunny and charming destination of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and the region to the north, the Riviera Nayarit. In April of 2018, I enjoyed a mother/son trip and we stayed at the RIU Vallarta resort. While I was there, I visited several other resorts in the Riviera Nayarit region. In 2019, I took my other son, and we had a son/mother/father trip and stayed at the NOW Amber in Puerto Vallarta. Again, this year, I toured several resorts mostly in the Puerto Vallarta and south of Puerto Vallarta. If you enjoy a nice sandy beach that you can walk along for miles, I would most likely recommend you stay at a resort in Riviera Nayarit. If you like the idea of experiencing a true, colonial Mexican town, I recommend you stay in Puerto Vallarta. The good news is that even though you stay in one place, you can experience both, as taxis and tours are plentiful. In 2018, we enjoyed an evening where we left the resort and taxied into Bucerias and in 2019, while staying in Puerto Vallarta, we really enjoyed our evening stroll along the Malecon, shopping and dining out. No matter where you stay, you can enjoy the sunny and warm days and nights in this region. The regions of Riviera Nayarit and Puerto Vallarta have many great choices for all inclusive and non all inclusive resorts. We really enjoyed our stay at NOW Amber and were blown away by the customer service throughout the resort!
